Commercial & Industrial Solar Solutions

Cut operating costs with solar plants engineered around your facility's demand.

For most businesses, electricity is a running cost that only goes up. A commercial or industrial solar plant generates power on your own roof, carport or land — during daytime hours, when most facilities use the most energy — so much of what it produces is used on site straight away.

We design each system around your load profile, from offices and service stations to factories running heavy machinery. Our portfolio includes rooftop plants of several hundred kilowatts for manufacturers, a bank headquarters, a pharmaceutical producer and service stations across Kenya.

Ideal for

  • Factories and manufacturing plants
  • Offices, banks and commercial buildings
  • Hospitals, schools and other institutions
  • Service stations, hotels and warehouses

What's included

  • Energy audit & load profiling: We analyse your consumption data and demand patterns to see how much solar you can use on site.
  • Feasibility & financial analysis: Expected generation, savings and payback set out clearly, so the decision rests on numbers.
  • Engineering design: Structural assessment, electrical design, protection and grid integration for your site.
  • Equipment procurement: Certified panels, inverters and mounting components sourced for your project.
  • Grid & generator integration: The plant works alongside your grid supply and backup generators, so generators run less.
  • Monitoring & reporting: Live data on what the plant generates, so you can track performance and savings.

How it works

  • Energy audit: We review your bills, consumption data and site.
  • Feasibility & proposal: System size, expected output, costs and savings — in writing.
  • Engineering design: Detailed structural and electrical design for your facility.
  • Installation: Project-managed installation planned around your operations.
  • Testing & commissioning: Full testing before the plant goes into service.
  • Operation & maintenance: Ongoing monitoring and servicing to keep output high.

Benefits

  • Lower operating costs: Self-generated power reduces what you buy from the grid every month.
  • More predictable energy costs: Your own generation is shielded from future tariff increases.
  • Less generator fuel: Daytime solar reduces how often backup generators need to run.
  • Sustainability credentials: Cut your carbon footprint and support your ESG and reporting goals.

Frequently asked questions

How much of our electricity can solar cover?

It depends on your available roof or land area and when you use power. Facilities that run mostly in daylight hours cover the largest share. The feasibility study shows the expected figure before you commit.

Will installation disrupt our operations?

We plan the work around your operations. Most of it happens on the roof or structure, and the final connection is scheduled at a time that suits you.

Can solar work alongside our generator?

Yes. A properly configured system runs together with your grid supply and backup generators, so the generators run less often and burn less fuel.

What if our roof isn't suitable?

We assess the structure during design. Where a roof can't take panels, ground-mounted arrays or solar carports are often an option — like the carport and ground-mount plant we built for the Missionary Benedictine Sisters in Karen.

How do we know the plant is performing?

Every plant we hand over includes monitoring so you can see generation in real time. We can also take on ongoing operation and maintenance.
