Surveillance Installation
Security systems that keep recording — even when the power goes out.
CCTV only protects a site if it's recording when something happens. We design and install surveillance systems for commercial and industrial facilities — cameras, recording, motion detection and remote viewing — and can power them with solar and battery backup so they keep running through power cuts.
Our work includes specialised installations for hazardous environments: in Uganda we installed ATEX-certified CCTV cameras and motion sensors, equipment rated for use where flammable gases or dust may be present.
Ideal for
- Factories and warehouses
- Offices, retail and commercial premises
- Fuel depots, plants and other hazardous areas
- Remote sites without a reliable power supply
What's included
- Security assessment: We identify what needs covering, the risks and blind spots.
- Camera selection: Indoor, outdoor and night-vision cameras — and ATEX-rated equipment for hazardous areas.
- Recording & storage: Recorders and storage sized for how long you need to keep footage.
- Motion detection: Sensors and alerts that flag activity when it matters.
- Remote viewing: Secure access to live and recorded footage from a phone or computer.
- Solar & backup power: Battery backup, and solar where needed, so the system keeps running.
How it works
- Assessment: A site walk-through to understand your security needs.
- Design & proposal: Camera positions, equipment and power design with costs.
- Installation: Cameras, cabling, recorders and power installed.
- Commissioning & training: System tested and your team shown how to use it.
- Support: Maintenance and help whenever you need it.
Benefits
- Round-the-clock coverage: Continuous monitoring of the areas that matter.
- Works through outages: Backup and solar power keep cameras recording.
- Deterrence & evidence: Visible cameras deter incidents; recordings document them.
- Built for tough environments: Including certified equipment for hazardous areas.
Frequently asked questions
Can CCTV keep running during power outages?
Yes — with battery backup, and solar where needed. We size the power supply so cameras and recorders keep running when the grid is down.
Can I view the cameras on my phone?
Yes. Systems can be set up for secure remote viewing on a phone or computer.
What does ATEX-certified mean?
ATEX certification means equipment is designed for areas where flammable gas, vapour or dust could be present, such as fuel depots and some industrial plants. Standard cameras must not be used in those zones.
